Children’s Salon Assistant Manager {Part-Time}

 

Pampered Palace Salon is now interviewing for a Part-Time Salon Assistant Manager in Evergreen Park, IL, and we are looking for 1 special candidate to fill this position. Management experience and working with children are preferred, if you have experience as a stylists that is also preferred and, we would also like to hear from you. Our ideal manager candidate is a people person who loves children, loves to help others, someone who likes to have fun at work and is motivated to achieve goals. We are also looking for someone who loves to make clients look and feel their best.

Duties include:

 

• Responsible for the well-being of clients while in the salon.  

• Responsible for monitoring the overall operations of the salon.

• Responsible for managing stylist moral, partnering to make sure stylist can meet clients’ needs.

• Responsible for ensuring the highest customer satisfaction. 

• Responsible for ensuring that the salon environment meets cleanliness and hygiene standards required by law. 

• Assisting in recruiting, hiring, training and coaching salon staff

• Responsible for maintaining and updating work calendars for employees.

• Responsible for inventorying salon supplies and reordering as needed to meet customers’ requests and demands.

• Assisting in resolving client complaints.

• Assisting in marketing the salon to attract new customers.

• Assisting in performing salon services for customers as needed.
